Jerome, Arizona - Population 400, give or take a few and of course including cats and dogs.

This small ghost town/artist colony/hippie hang-out was once a thriving old west mining town. Now it is a funky tourist destination with unique characters, stories and happenings.

Jerome has always been to me like Cicely on Northern Exposure. (I have created a Northern Exposure Page)

The people are educated yet eccentric, rugged individualists yet seek some type of community.  Even the people of the past were the same - fascinating how some things don't change.

If anybody has information they want to add about Jerome to this site, please feel free to send it to me and I will consider it.

Copperstate 1000

The Copperstate 1000, a vintage car road rally benefiting the Phoenix Art Museum, will be driving
through Jerome Tuesday, April 7th, 2009.
This event, now in its 19th year takes around 70 pre-1973 sports cars on a 4-day,
1,000 mile trip throughout Arizona.

Scheduled to pass through Jerome mid-morning.
